Congratulations to Tommy O'Rourke! His abstract on his thesis research “Murder Hornets”: Modeling an Asian Hornet (Vespa velutina) Invasion in the United States and Canada" has been accepted for presentation at the 2020 Annual Conference of the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA.) The conference will be held virtually on October 6-8, 2020.  NAISMA is an organization that supports terrestrial and aquatic invasive species management, research, policy initiatives, and outreach throughout North America. Tommy recently defended his master's thesis on this topic under the mentorship of Dr. John Hranitz.
