The Tree Swallow Project: Year 2!

The tree swallows are back! Dr. Lauri Green, assistant professor in the Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences, recently discussed year two of Bloomsburg University’s  Tree Swallow Project with Don Jacobs on WNEP’s television program “Pennsylvania Outdoor Life.” The program aired on May 17 and can be seen at https://www.wnep.com/mobile/article/entertainment/television/pa-outdoor-life/tree-swallow-project-bloomsurg-university-lauri-green/523-9b9b9f1b-d2f1-4cf0-82af-01e45866994f   During year two, the Tree Swallow Project will focus on how the availability and consumption of prey relates to the reproductive timing of the tree swallows in artificial wetlands. Teaming up with Dr. Green are graduate student Ty Basinger and undergraduates Shelley Rider, Gabrielle Leonard, Briaunna Makar, and Lacie Pichler.
