Kiersten Eddinger receives Dr. James E. Parsons Scholarship

The Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences is pleased to announce that Kiersten Eddinger has been awarded the Dr. James E. Parsons Scholarship.  The scholarship was established by Dr. Parsons, retired professor of microbiology, faculty emeritus, and former director of the medical laboratory science program at BU. Kiersten, a health science major in the medical laboratory science track, is from Cambra, PA.  Kiersten actively participated in BU's Equestrian Team and has served as both captain and co-captain of the English team. She is a member of the Center for Leadership and Engagement and has been involved with many co-curricular experiences to enhance her leadership skills. In August, Kiersten will begin her medical laboratory science clinical experience at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
