Dr. Frederick Maue 1976 Scholarship Awarded to Kyle Mausteller

Kyle Mausteller
Kyle Mausteller is the recipient of the Dr. Frederick Maue 1976 Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student in the BS Biology Pre-medical Sciences curriculum. Kyle, a rising senior, is a dean’s list student and member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society. Kyle is a member of the BU Honors Program. Kyle is active on campus holding membership in Alpha Phi Omega, BAHS club and the pre-medical sciences club. He is board member and mentor of Board of Governors. Kyle conducts his honors research in Dr. Kate Beishline's Laboratory on the role of Subtelomeric CTCF in Telomere Stability. He recently presented his research at the Northeast District 2 Tri-Beta Convention and the College of Science and Technology Research Day. This summer he received an Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities grant to continue his research. Kyle volunteers at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. He plans to attend mediccal school and become a primary care physician. Congratulations Kyle!
