Spring 2019 CoST Research Day

The College of Science and Technology hosted Research Day on April 26, 2019 in Andruss Library. This event celebrates a year of achievement  in the research laboratory and an opportunity for students to present their results for discussion and feedback. Following opening remarks by Dean Aronstam, Mr. Duane Greenly presented the keynote address on The Importance of Search in Research. Mr Greenly is a 1972 alumnus, graduating from BU with a BS in secondary education focusing on Chemistry. After earning his MS in organic chemistry, Mr.Greenly went on to become the CEO of AMES Tru Temper, retiring as president. He currently serves as the BU Foundation Board of Directors and was named the William T. Derricott '66 Volunteer of the Year.

BAHS students were well-represented at Research Day with 16 student presentations! Thank you to Drs. Kate Beishline and Abby Hare-Harris for serving on the Research Day Committee.
