BAHS majors are invited to apply for the Summer 2020 URSCA, short for Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activiies Program. The program aims to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to participate in research and scholarshp or engage in creative activities, while being mentored by a faculty member. To be eligible, students must be in academic good standing and enrolled in at least 6 credits in the Summer OR in Fall 2020. URSCA students are awarded wages of $200 per week (half-time) or $400 per week (full-time) for the number of weeks needed to complete the experience. Minimum awards are full-time for 3 weeks ($1200) to full-time for 12 weeks $4800). Funds for supplies are also available, The program includes required organizational meetings, workshops, and a presentation at the Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium in early August. Two URSCA Question and Answer Sessions will be held in the Spring 2020 Semester, and are open to both faculty and interested students. Sessions will be held in the Schweiker Room, Andruss Library.
Session 1 - Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 9 a.m.Session 2 - Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 9 a.m.
