Dr. Jennifer Venditti delivers Commencement Address


Dr. Jennifer Venditti, Associate Professor
Dr. Jennifer Venditti, Associate Professor, was the commencement speaker at the undergraduate ceremony on December 14, 2019.  In her address, Dr. Venditti referenced a favorite book from her childhood, "The Monster at the End of this Book," a story about Grover by Jon Stone.  Dr. Venditti reminded the graduates that they have been well-prepared by Bloomsburg University and encouraged them to not be afraid to turn the next page. Dr. Venditti is herself a Bloomsburg University graduate, earning her master's degree in biology.  Dr. Venditti earned her Ph.D. in molecular biology from Lehigh University and began at BU in 2010. Dr. Venditti teaches courses in Human Biology, Introduction to Healthcare Practice, Health Care Practicum, Health Sciences Seminar, and laboratories in Anatomy and Physiology and Cell Biology. Her research specialty is in the area of reproductive biology and she has supervised numerous graduate and undergraduate research projects. She is the co-advisor, with Dr. Angela Hess, of the Biology and Allied Health Sciences Club.
