Madison Aungst , a BAHS 2018 alumna (BS Biology, pre-medical Sciences), and her father, general dentist Dr. Bryan Aungst , volunteered with the Reaching Children's Potential Project in Ipalamwa, Tanzania in January 2019. Madison raised over $6,000  from her church and the community for the trip to purchase dental equipment and 915 tooth brushes and tubes of toothpaste. Heather Detwiler , a B.S. Health Sciences major in the pre-accelerated nursing major, received a BU Professional Experience Grant to study abroad in Australia during the summer through at program at the University of Canberra.  She conducted research on the prevalence of concussions in youth populations in conjunction with the Australia Institute of Sport. During her stay in Australia, Heather had the opportunity to travel, visiting Melbourne, The Great Ocean Road, Canberra, Sydney...
