BAHS Faculty present research at Conference of the Academy

Bloomsburg University held its second annual “Conference of the Academy” on August 21 and 22, 2019. Sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the event brought faculty together from throughout the university for a celebration of scholarship.  Faculty from all four colleges shared their research interests in presentations at McCormick Human Services Center.  BAHS faculty who shared their scholarship at the conference were:

Dr. Lauri Green
Dr. Lauri Green:  Dr. Green earned both her B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her current research examines the nesting, reproductive success, chick growth rates, and foraging behaviors of tree swallows and compares populations in natural and artificial wetlands.  Her work in collaboration with BAHS undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty has been featured on WNEP's Pennsylvania Outdoor Life. 

Dr. Abby Hare-Harris
Dr. Abby Hare-Harris:  Dr. Hare-Harris earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Biostatistics at Ursinus College and earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Rutgers University. She completed postdoctoral training at the Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) at Geisinger Health System.Her area of expertise is Human and Molecular Genetics with a focus on neuropsychiatric disorders.
