John Poling presents masters thesis research

John Poling successfully defended his master's thesis on November 30, 2018.  John's thesis was entitled "The effects of neurotoxins on the memory, cognitive ability, and social behavior of the zebrafish (Danio rerio.)  John graduated from Susquehanna University in 2013 and started at Bloomsburg  University in January of 2016.  He is a graduate student member of Bloomsburg University's chapter of Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society.  John is the company commander of the 812th Military Police Company in the Army Reserves.  He was recently stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (July 2017-May 2018) as a brigade engineer where he was responsible for the daily maintenance of a detention facility and construction planning.  His thesis committee members are Drs. Klingerman (thesis adviser), Coleman, Klinger, and Schwindinger.
