Applications being accepted for the Margaret Till Physiology Award


Juniors and Seniors in the Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences are invited to apply for the Margaret Till Physiology Award. Dr. Till, faculty emerita and former BAHS chairperson, established a physiology award to be granted to a junior or senior who is currently enrolled or has successfully completed at least one senior physiology lecture course and Integrated Physiology Lab. Physiology lecture courses are Microbial Physiology, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Animal Cell Physiology and Comparative Physiology. To be eligible, students must be graduating in Spring 2015, Summer 2015 or Fall 2016.  Applications for the $250 cash award may be obtained outside 146 Hartline.  In addition to the application form, students must submit a grade report form, a recommendation letter from a physiology professor, and a 350 to 500 word  essay which describes the role of physiology  in their future careers. Applications are due Friday, March 20, 2015.
