Pie is not just for the mathematicians!

Have you ever had the thought, I would love to throw a pie in the face of that shall remain nameless professor after their last killer exam. Some Bloomsburg students and faculty got that chance.....
 
The Bloomsburg Chapter of Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta Honor Society) hosted a fundraiser to raise money to attend their national conference this summer. It wasn’t just any fundraiser though, it was PieTastic! 
 
Students and faculty made bids to throw pie’s in each others faces and then met outside the Commons to make those bids a reality. (Apparently the Commons is the only place on campus zoned for pie related events 😂). 
 
It was a fantastic time and raised over $400!! 
 
 
 
 
Don’t worry if you missed it, this fundraiser was so much fun they’ll be doing it again this Spring! 😎😀😂

The Penn State College of Medicine Primary Care Scholars’ Program is an exceptional opportunity for those who are interested in attending medical school and specializing in primary care. Dr. Stefanie Kroll, stream ecologist, presents seminar

Seminar speaker Dr. Stefanie Kroll with host Dr. Steve Rier, professor Dr. Stefanie Kroll, Assistant Research Professor, in the Department of Biodiversity, Earth and Environmental Science at Drexel University shared her expertise  on   aquatic macroinvertebrate ecology at the BAHS seminar series on November 1, 2019. Dr. Kroll's talk was entitled"  Macroinvertebrates Tell All: Indicators of Human Impacts on Streams" Dr. Kroll is the    project science director of the Delaware River Watershed Initiative, a collaboration among over 50 nonprofit groups working in watershed conservation. She has a PhD in ecology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY.
