Check out the Dr. Stephen Schell Scholarship


Dr. Stephen E. Schell, MD (BS Biology, 1975), a board certified otolaryngologist and graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, has generously established an award in the form of a professional experience grant to assist students in preparing for osteopathic or allopathic medical school. The Dr. Stephen Schell Award provides funds of $300 - $600 to help defray the cost of a preparatory course or materials for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).  The scholarship can be awarded before or after the costs are incurred. Students in any major are eligible to apply.

Recipients of the 2017 Dr. Stephen Schell Scholarship were Nathan Feiertag and Daniel Deignan.



                You will be prompted to provide:
o   one reference letter from a biology faculty member
o   one reference letter from a faculty member outside biology
o   paragraph describing your career and educational goals.

DEADLINE: 4:30 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018.
