Mallory Tomaschik named Outstanding Senior in Allied Health

Mallory Tomaschik, a health sciences, pre-physician assistant major, was selected as outstanding senior in allied health. Mallory has been named to the Dean’s List each semester at Bloomsburg University. She receive a Phi Kappa Phi Recognition Award for outstanding performance during her freshman year. Mallory was a pitcher on Bloomsburg University’s Varsity Softball Team and earned a host of honors including the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar (PSAC) Athlete Award, the Bloomsburg University Scholar Athlete award, the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, the PSAC Pitcher of the Week, and the PSAC All Central Division Pitcher. Mallory is the recipient of numerous scholarships such as the Math, Science and Technology Scholarship; the Catawissa  Lumber and Specialty Co. Inc. Education Fund Scholarship, the M. Catherine Murphy Scholarship, the Supervisory Roundtable Endowed Scholarship; the Husky Research Corporation Athletic Scholarship, the Hometown Huskies Scholarship, the Hall of Fame Scholarship, the Fulton Financial Advisors Robbins/Shuman Fund Scholarship, the Highmark Healthcare Scholarship and the Drummond Scholarship. Mallory is a member of Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She was named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She is a flex nursing assistant at Geisinger Medical Center in the Hospital for Advanced Medicine. In the community, she gives volunteer and fundraising Pitching Lessons, was a Big Event Volunteer, and assists with sports physicals at Southern Columbia Area High School. Mallory will attend the physician assistant program at Lock Haven University. Congratulations Mallory!
