Dr. Coleman awarded tenure and promotion

Dr. William Coleman
Congratulations to Dr. William Coleman for earning tenure and promotion to the rank of associate professor. Dr. Coleman has been at Bloomsburg University since 2011.  He received his B.S. in Biophysics from the University of Scranton and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University. Dr. Coleman teaches neurophysiology, integrated physiology,  laboratories in Anatomy & Physiology I and II, and Current Topics in Biology: The Synapse.  His research  is aimed at understanding how neurons communicate, specifically the events involved in synaptic transmission, Dr. Coleman and his students are exploring topics  
such as  synaptic vesicle cycling and dynamics  and the distribution and interaction of synapsin proteins.
