Check out the BAHS Virtual Poster Gallery!

Although Covid 19 and the move to online classes put the damper on many opportunities to conduct and present research during spring semester 2020, BAHS made the best of the situation. Our weekly seminar series continued on zoom under the leadership of Dr. Thomas KlingerRachel Daku, a graduate assistant in our Masters in Biology program, launched the Biology and Allied Health Sciences Virtual Poster Gallery to highlight some of the semester's research and creative activities. Check out the virtual gallery at the link below.

There are tabs at the top to check out the various options.

Maria Simko, Taylor Shughart, Martina Bennick, and Caitlyn Collins. Effects of microplastics on multiple variables on the red crayfish, Procambarus clarkii,

Due to the cancellation of this year's annual Health Sciences Symposium,  students in Dr. Surmacz's  Anatomy & Physiology 2 class prepared virtual posters on health-related topics instead of physical ones that normally graced the walls of the Kehr Union Multipurpose Rooms. Over a hundred of these virtual posters are on display under the A & P 2 tab.

Under the Research in Biology 1 tab, check out this poster that uses CRISPR, a super cool gene editing technique:
Kaitlyn Gwozdecki and William Schwindinger. Targeting GNG12 using CRISPR-Cas 9 in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells,
