BAHS graduate students propose Master's Research

Michael Facella and Alex Pasculle presented thesis proposals on April 5, 2020 to a well-attended group of faculty and students on Zoom . Mike's research is focused on  A comparative analysis of microplastics found in digestive systems of macroinverebrates from rivers of different order. Mike is enrolled in the department's 3 + 2 master's program, earning a bachelor's and master's degree in biology in 5 years.  Dr. Thomas Klinger is his thesis advisor.  Alex Pasculle's research is on Pleiotropic signaling in the endocannabinoid system: The role of the γ subunit. Alex earned his B.S. in biology from California University of PA. His thesis advisor is Dr. William Schwindinger. A great discussion followed and Mike and Alex are now poised to begin their studies.
